DHQ Declares Nine Persons Wanted For Terrorism in North East Nigeria

Defence Headquarters in Abuja, on Thursday, declared 9 persons wanted for terrorism, violent extremism against the state in the North East.

They are ABU KHADIJAH, ABDURRAHMA, DADI GUMBA (ABU MUHAMME, ABU YUSUF, MUSA WA’A, USMAN KANIN SHEHU, IBRAHIM SUYEKA, BA SULHU, IDRIS TAKLAKSE

The Director, Defence Media Operations Major General Edward Buba, confirmed the names and pictures of the people declared wanted in a banner.

The wanted persons, terrorists/ bandits and insurgents commanders are from the North-East zone.

Further revelation is that the Lakurawas are affiliates of terrorists from Republics of Mali and Niger. They started infiltrating into northern parts of Sokoto and Kebbi states from the Niger and Mali areas, particularly after the coup in Niger Republic.

Meanwhile, some terrorist leaders, commanders and combatants have indicated their desire to surrender.

“We are opening a surrendering corridor for that purpose”, disclosed the Defence Headquarters.
