Iwuanyanwu, a highly transformational leader- FERMA.

From Cyril Mbah Abuja.
The management of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) has described the late President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu as a seasoned, transformational leader who will be greatly missed by the nation.
In a condolence message to the family of the deceased businessman, which was personally signed by the Managing Director/CEO of the agency, Dr Emeka Agbasi, the management  recalled how Chief Iwuanyanwu impacted positively on the agency with his wealth of experience when he served as the chairman of the board of FERMA between 2005 and 2007.
Chief Iwuanyanwu was credited to have successfully secured the present location used by FERMA as its Corporate Headquarters and the expansion of the agency’s operations with the establishment of offices throughout the 36 states of the federation to give the agency a national outlook.
Chief Iwuanyanwu was also praised for uplifting the welfare of FERMA staff and in acquiring additional properties for the agency’s future expansion programmes.
“During the period he served as  Chairman, FERMA Governing Board, his foresight and selfless services underpinned the numerous achievements and legacies of the agency.
“Following his appointment by the then President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, in 2005 as the Chairman, Governing Board of FERMA, he found out that the staff were operating from an unimpressive rented private house. He approved the acquisition of an office for FERMA Corporate Headquarters at Wuse 11 where it currently operates from including an empty land besides the office.”
The message said Chief Iwuanyanwu’s unwavering commitment to duty was an inspiration to the staff of FERMA even as he inspired all cadres of workers to be united in service and the love of God.
